It is better to create a diet plan for IBS in which you take three small meals on a daily basis and these meals can be accompanied by three snacks in between each meal. Also ensure that you chew your food slowly and steadily and of course you must avoid trying to eat too quickly. And, you must also learn to relax after your meals and doing light and regular exercises after each meal too can buttress the effects of a well planned diet plan for IBS.

It is also recommended that you create a special diet for IBS. It generally only requires that you keep a diary that contains notes about the foods that you consume and how any of the foods result in developing IBS symptoms.
